Waitrose is one of the UK's more upmarket supermarkets. Their trademark packaging colour is white and their designs always adhere to a very clear, on-brand aesthetic. Whilst trying to procure work, this self initiated brief for premium conserves, was turned on its side (rather than on its head!). Taking inspiration from a fruit machine (one armed bandit) the jams were merchandised on their side to emulate the reels of the machine and photography was used instead of illustration. Unfortunately this never managed to win them over and is now just an interesting little footnote in my portfolio.
