WHO ON EARTH ARE THESE CHANCERS?


Limepickle is the newest brand agency in the Philadelphia region. We’ve done the Big Agency thing, and it was nice, but it really wasn’t for us. With effective design becoming an increasing necessity for businesses of all sizes, we felt that it shouldn't be just the big boys that have the monopoly. We believe that every company needs great design, whatever their budget. It just means we have to WORK SMARTER.

IT'S ONE THING TO TALK A BIG GAME...


On our homepage you got a look at one of our guiding principles. "Effective Design begins with the right questions, a great idea, and a good pencil". Below, we explain how came to adopt this and what exactly we mean. The core essence of what we do as a design business has been distilled down into these threee key points. It may appear simplistic, but they are quite difficult to achieve, so we use them as a constant reminder to help guide us.

THE RIGHT QUESTIONS...

This is the foundation upon which great design is built; getting to root of the problem from an internal and operational perspective as well as that of the customer. By asking the right questions we can execute top level creative that not only problem solves, but can be used as the cornerstone of a solid creative strategy and roadmap for the future.

A GREAT IDEA...

The benchmark of a great design company is the ability to generate 'The Big Idea' and understand the applications of that idea across multiple channels and touchpoints. An overall creative strategy is something often overlooked by using tactical executions to address complex business problems. We don't go for the quick fix.

& A GOOD PENCIL

The computer is simply a tool. Too often 'designs' are sold on polished visuals alone, but we believe solutions can actually be solved at the notebook level by using a little grey matter and a little black graphite. We can iterate faster and be more focussed without losing sight of the problem to be solved, rather than being attracted to bright shiny vectors.

Founded in London, UK - offering contract services to some of the best known design companies nationally, whilst servicing our own small boutique client base.

Relocated from London and Incorporated in Pennsylvania - offering freelance, contract and extra-curricular design services whilst getting to grips with Philly and the tri-state region.

'16

Relaunched as the newest brand agency in the region. We're essentially a start up and we're here to do great work, and... do something a little differently.

Smaller budgets doesn't necessarily mean you can afford less, it just means we need to WORK SMARTER to help you achieve your ROI and goals. And that's our promise.

LOVE PHILLY


Why did we make Philly and the surrounding area our home? Well, for a start we love the city. It was voted the US's 4th most walkable city, and that suits us perfectly. Everything is accessible. It's big enough to be a draw, yet not too big to get lost and be annonymous in. It has a rich and vibrant history, beautiful architecture, and is a hub of a growing art and business community. It has amazing restaurants and food scene. And don't get us started about First Fridays.

And it has Cheesesteaks.



SO, WHO IS BEHIND THE CURTAIN?



Jenksy, the Limepickle creative director and owner has been around. (No, not in that way), working on both sides of the Atlantic, in a career spanning over 22 years. He has worked at top 20 agencies in the UK, on some of the world’s largest brands (see below), during which time his work has been recognized by AIGA - the American Institute for Graphic Arts, SEGD - The Society for Experiential/ Environmental Design and The Global Retail Interiors Awards.
His work has also been featured in several Best-in-class books in the fields of retail design, branding, and environmental design. Limepickle, is him simply doing what he loves most: solving design and business problems without the confines of bureaucratic red-tape. In his spare time he has contributed pro-bono services to several sport related non-profits helping to raise somewhere in the region of around half a million dollars for various charities and organizations.



WE BOARD NO FLIGHTS OF FANCY


We don't subscribe to absolutes. We are continually open to new ways of doing things; new technologies, new methodologies, new approaches. We can help facilitate paradigm shifts in your organization. But we are realistic pragmatists too. We are not going to give you something unrealistic that you cannot implement or action. Our work has legs and we're in it for the long haul, and not just the quick puddle jump.

Fortune may favor the bold but that doesn't mean that it has to come with a price.
